Erectile Dysfunction & Men's Sexual Health Clinic in Oxford

Erection problems are very common – around half of men between 40 and 70 have some difficulty at some point – yet many men wait years before asking for help. The good news is that almost every man with erectile dysfunction (ED) can be helped, and in most cases without any operation. At OX Urology, Mr Sarp Keskin offers private, consultant-led andrology clinics in Oxford and Banbury, with a strong focus on finding the cause and getting you the right treatment quickly.
Is this clinic right for me?
You may benefit from a consultation if you have:
Difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex
Tablets such as sildenafil (Viagra) or tadalafil (Cialis) that no longer work, never worked, or cause side effects
Ejaculation that happens too quickly (premature ejaculation)
Low sex drive, tiredness or other symptoms that may point to low testosterone
Erection problems after prostate, pelvic or bowel surgery, or with diabetes
Simply wanting a proper medical check rather than buying tablets online
What happens at your appointment?
A private, unhurried conversation about your symptoms, health, medicines and what matters to you
A short, respectful examination
Blood tests where needed – including a morning testosterone level, blood sugar (HbA1c) and cholesterol
Penile Doppler ultrasound in selected men, to check the blood flow into and out of the penis
A clear explanation of the cause and a written plan
Treatments available in clinic
Tablets – sildenafil, tadalafil (on-demand or daily), vardenafil and avanafil, with advice on how to take them properly (most "tablet failures" are fixable)
MUSE – a tiny pellet placed in the tip of the penis
Vitaros – a cream applied to the tip of the penis
Caverject and other penile injections – with your first dose given and taught in clinic, so you go home confident
Vacuum erection devices
Low-intensity shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) – honest advice on whether it is likely to help you
Premature ejaculation treatment – sprays, tablets and practical techniques
Testosterone assessment and advice
For the small number of men who do not respond to any of these, Mr Keskin will explain surgical options such as a penile implant and arrange referral to a specialist implant surgeon.
